In conjunction with Basingstoke ITEC and BCoT, we are pleased to welcome 2 apprentices who will be working in different areas of the business to support our growth ambitions.
Marcus Thrower joins us as Junior Technical Engineer and will be assisting and supporting the project delivery team, both on site and in the office. He will be involved with the project delivery lifecycle including staging of the equipment, installation on site and support during the system go live. Marcus prior to being offered an apprenticeship self-studied for his Cisco CCENT to give him a start into a career in IT.
Joe Walker joins us as Sales and Marketing Assistant and will be supporting the team here with incoming enquiries, campaign logistics and management, CRM, social media and supporting sales with quotations and proposals. Joe is a keen cyclist and recently completed a 200 mile ride from Paris to Wokingham raising money for Drop4Drop. “I’m eager to learn new skills on the job and contribute to the team here at 365iTMS and 5i”.
Sarah Coiley, Finance Director says, “As an organisation we have a moral obligation to support our local community. We do this in a number of ways, supporting young people through apprenticeship initiatives is just one of them. Offering placements here they learn valuable skills on the job whilst studying for a recognised qualification in their chosen field. They are a real asset to our team and we look forward to working with them to develop their skills.”
